The smallholding is located on the edge of a village and the landowner, and their neighbours were contacted to say a large swathe of their and was proposed to be designated as greenspace.
Through engagement with the local planning authority and neighbourhood planning group, we were able to outline how the site wouldn’t perform an adequate function to meet the requirements and the proposed designation was removed. The designation would have put even further restrictions on the development potential of the site in the future.
